Nothing special...

2012 is quickly approaching...I don't really have any feelings on the new year...Just that 2011 went by very fast and I'm sure 2012 will speed by too...

Carter turned 1 on 12/10...I can't believe my little face is 1...

He had his 1 year checkup and did pretty well...He cried when he got his shots, but he got over it rather quickly...He's a bit of a small guy...He's still in his 9 month clothes and weighed in at 17 pounds and 10 ounces...But I'm not concerned about it and neither is the doc...

Very much looking forward to February and our trip to Florida...Evan and I have set a route...Next we'll need to fix up our nightly stop points and book hotels...Since there isn't much going on at work today, I'm going to start our pack list...I LOVE PACK LISTS!!!  (I'm being 100% serious)

Brief absence...

So yeah, I was gone for awhile...

My beautiful little Carter turned 1 on 12/10...I can't believe how fast this past year has gone...One minute he was freshly hatched with his tiny little face and now he's 1 and has teeth and walks around...Pure craziness...

William is awesome...For awhile we were worried about his speech, he just hardly said anything...But over the past few months, it's just exploded...Its so amazing to see...I love hearing him talk...

Taking our first real family vacation in February!  I'm very excited about it...We're taking the boys to Orlando, FL for a week to hit Disney and visit our old homestead...I'm enthused about the following:

1. Seeing William and Carter's faces when we get to Disney...William LOVES Mickey Mouse...It'll totally blow his mind...
2. Seeing our friends!  It'll be so awesome to sit down and talk to people sans internet connection...
3. FOOD!  I plan to hit up Publix and grab a sheet cake for our week long stay...
4. Being somewhere that's warmer than Idaho in the winter...

We plan to drive since Ev doesn't fly...I honestly think it'll be fine...The boys did amazingly well when we drove to Oregon for Javier & Rachael's wedding...

Ugh, feeling low on energy, I may need an afternoon cup of coffee...

Carter is set to arrive on 12/10...That is of course if he doesn't try and come out early...I keep having a recurring dream in which my water breaks at work...What's concerning is that I'm not too worried about that...In my dream, I'm freaking out about how my water broke on the carpet and how those in charge of the building will be both mad and grossed out and instead of booking it to the hospital I'm running around trying to clean it up...

It seems very surreal that we are less than 2 weeks away from having another little person our lives...My last day of work is 12/7...Ev's mom arrives on 12/8...Then I'll have a few days of good solid William time before I get up really early on the 10th to hit the hospital...Its just insane...

I'm worried about how William will take to Carter...I've been trying really hard to talk to him about how he's going to be a big brother soon and how Carter is almost here...But he's only one and half...So I'm pretty sure he has no idea what I'm talking about...William really seems to like other kids so I'm hoping that he won't have an emotional freak out and hate the baby...I'm also worried about Carter messing with William's sleep at night since their rooms are side by side and they share a wall...But not much to be done about that...I'll just have to hope for the best...

I have definitely entered the uncomfortable place...Not sleeping too well since I have to go to the bathroom a 100 times a night...Plus sleeping on my sides is starting to make my hips and knees really sore...But, it comes with the territory, and thankfully its happening much later this go around then it did with William...And at least this time I haven't thrown my back out (knock on wood)...

Hopefully just 10 days to go!!!  While I personally don't mind him arriving earlier, it'd help if he could stick it out until Ev's mom arrives so we won't have to worry about getting everyone we know to help take care of William while I'm in the hospital...

Ninja peanut has a name!!!

Ninja peanut had himself a lovely time at the DMB show the other night...Kicking and moving like crazy!!!  Therefore, we have settled on naming him Carter...I think his middle name will be Ewan, but that may still be up for debate...I like Carter...Its simple...And seriously, look up footage of Carter at their shows...That is one happy joyful guy, and I like the idea of naming the baby after someone that is that in love with what they do...

The show was great...I regret buying floor seats...Not because they cost more or anything, but because when you're pregnant, after a couple of hours, you really gotta sit down...Ev was a little bummed that once again he didn't get to hear, "Seek Up," and I was a little bummed I didn't get to hear, "#41."  But I thought it was a pretty balanced set list filled with good stuff for everyone...

I wasn't so into the opening act, Alberta Cross...The singer guy reminded me way too much of Russell Brand...But not in a good way...He took himself a little too seriously...

Very excited about the 3-day weekend...We have no plans, and I'm 100% okay with that...I'm hoping to get some cleaning done since Audrey arrives on the 8th...Outside of that there will hopefully be relaxing, play time with William, the BSU game, and some WOW...
